In Dalyan the river is the dividing line between old and new. There
is about a 2,500 year age difference between what you find on one side of the river and the other.
The old side is the site of the Kaunos ruins and several ancient Lycian tombs.
The new side of the river is crowded with hotels, restaurants, and shops galore.
