Fish River Canyon

Yes, we really were this close to the edge of Fish River Canyon

Fish River Canyon is the largest canyon in Africa and some consider it to be the second largest in the world next to the Grand Canyon.  Unlike the Grand Canyon, there are no safety barriers in sight.  We took a nice sunset walk along the rim, and we only wish we could've seen more.

Kids, don't try this at home

There is a five-day hike through the canyon that requires a medical certificate to attempt.  Maybe one day?!
