Tonight I had my first haircut of the trip - from David! Yes, the same David I married. Katie is this bringing back bad memories??
Typically, when I get the urge for a haircut I do everything I can to make an appointment within the next 24 hours because I feel like I can't stand my current hair any longer than that - silly, I know! Unfortunately, my stylist from home is more than a 24 hour plane trip away and I have heard horror stories about haircuts in foreign cities. So, David was next best. For his first time, I think he did well. He may just have himself a new job on the trip!

David, my technique was to close my eyes and turn my head away a little bit. Though it did not prove a very accurate way to cut hair, it didn't discourage Sara, and she kept coming back! As far as at-home haircuts go, you have very small shoes to fill!

I don't ever remember Katie cutting your hair. Why wasn't I doing that! David, sounds like you might have a new career - maybe Andrea would also like to try?
